Curved barbells, These slightly bent bar is internally threaded With two screw-in balls. Each of the balls features a protruding threaded stem which screws into the barbel shaft (curved barbells consists of a post (Shaft) and two ball end pieces). These are easy to change with the aid of an insertion pin (taper). Insertion pins are available under piercing tools.

Internally threaded:

Internally threaded makes the best choice for body jewellery. The part of the jewellery that passes through your skin is smooth. Threads are on the removable attachments, avoids any possibility of scraping the tissue. This is especially important with fresh piercings.

QualiTi:

Created in summer of 2013. The UK owned company that specialises in body Jewellery. Their products made using ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium, Decorated with high-quality crystal, faux pals and semi-precious stones. Stones held in place using prong and bezel settings. No glue used in the build process.

All bars and attachments are compatible within their gauge. Meaning you can wear the same bar and several attachments. Great for someone who likes to change their look a lot.

Compliant with the EU Nickel Directive introduced in Europe in 2001. Titanium is ideal for both initial body piercings and healed piercings.

Grade Ti6AL-4V, ASTM F136 is the specification for the alloy to use for surgical implants. It is available in Highly Polished or Anodised Colours. Titanium is only half the weight of steel and twice as strong.

Compared with other metals such as steel and lower grades of titanium. The composition of the titanium alloy used in ASTM F136. This bounds so that it cannot break down under the skin.

Lower quality titanium is not for long-term wear under the skin. ASTM F 136 titanium ensures the best chance that a piercing will heal.

Steps to use an insertion pin (taper).

• Wash your hands with soap and water. If you have disposable gloves, don them.
• Clean the insertion pin (taper) with soap and water, or wipe it thoroughly with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
• Clean the piercing site. Typically this will be with soap and water,
• Gently guide the thin part of the pin through the channel of the piercing. This should not hurt. If this is uncomfortable, remove the insertion pin and see a piercer as soon as possible.
• Connect your jewelry to the insertion pin by pressure or threading.
Follow the jewelry behind the insertion pin, Screwing it on completely to the insertion pin if threaded or butting it up against the insertion pin it threadless or settling it into the indented portion if concave.
Make sure the Jewellery follows the insertion pin through the piercing smoothly do not use force.

Additional information:

Wash with antibacterial soap and warm water, Before inserting into your piercing.
No need to use alcohol or harsh cleansers on internally threaded jewellery.
